We began operating in 2012 and have built our approach around understanding what each client needs to insure. At Blackadder Insurance Brokers, our Northern Territory roots remain important, while our services extend to clients throughout Australia. We discuss personal insurance, home and contents, motor and landlord policies alongside business and industry insurance. Our role also includes helping people understand insurance documents and assisting with claims communication.
Paul Blackadder
Founder
Paul Blackadder is the driving force behind Blackadder Financial Services — a bold, forward-thinking advisor with over two decades of hands-on experience helping Australians grow, protect, and finance their futures.
Having built multiple businesses from the ground up, Paul understands what it takes to succeed — and what it means to be truly supported. His passion lies in creating clarity, structure, and confidence for individuals, families, and business owners who want more than just financial products... they want real strategy, real results, and a real relationship they can trust.
From pre-retirement planning to business protection, from smart lending to strategic insurance cover, Paul and his team deliver expert advice with heart. He's built a reputation for listening deeply, tailoring solutions, and following through — every time.
Outside the office, you'll likely find Paul chasing waves, exploring nature, or adventuring into his next big vision. His mission? To help others live a life of financial freedom, purpose, and abundance — on their own terms.
Jade Hall
Account Executive
Jade has over 12 years of experience in the General Insurance industry, dedicated to helping clients protect their businesses, assets, and wealth.
Throughout her career, she has managed a diverse portfolio of insurance needs across multiple sectors, including Commercial Property, SME Businesses, Large Enterprises, Entertainment, Commercial Motor, and Personal Lines. Specialising in challenging and hard-to-place risks, Jade excels at finding tailored solutions where standard markets fall short. Known for her client-focused approach, easygoing nature, and commitment to exceptional service, she works closely with clients to secure comprehensive coverage that fits their real-world needs.
When she's not advocating for her clients, Jade is a busy mum to active kids who keep her constantly on the go and entertained between soccer, tennis, and dancing.
Caroline
Account Executive & Insurance Broker
Caroline is an Account Executive and Insurance Broker with over 10 years' experience in the insurance industry.
I started my career as an assistant and quickly worked my way into broking, before becoming a Team Leader within a retail insurance team and later moving into commercial insurance. I understand that running a business can be busy enough without having to navigate complicated insurance policies, so my approach is simple: I take the time to understand your business, explain your options in plain English and help find cover that works for you.
When I'm not working, you'll usually find me spending time with my family or on the sidelines watching my son play rugby league.

We listen first, explain policy wording in ordinary language and look beyond the headline premium. We have contact points in Coolalinga, on the Gold Coast and on the Central Coast. We also provide a Resources section linking to the four nominated NAB borrowing, repayment, stamp duty and equity calculators.
